The City Hall of Chisinau Municipality reports that on the basis of the Extraordinary Public Health Commission of the Chisinau Municipality Decision No. 16 of 15.08.2020, it was decided to allow the resumption of the educational process in the private early education institutions on the territory of the city and the suburbs too.

At the same time, it should be mentioned that the conditions of private kindergartens must comply with the provisions of the Instruction on preparation for reopening and resumption of early education institutions in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as after coordination with the Chisinau Public Health Center and Chisinau territorial office of the National Agency for Food Safety.  Furthermore, the early education institutions’ administration needs to complete a self-assessment report on the resumption of the educational institution.

In the context of the reopening of the private early education institution, Deputy Mayor Ilie Ceban called for maximum responsibility and caution from relevant institutions (which must meet the rigors in the context of the  COVID-19 pandemic established by the authorities), but also from municipal officials and parents, "Because we are talking about the health of everyone and especially our children," the Deputy Mayor pointed out. 

In addition, it should be mentioned that between August 17-20, this year, the General Department of Education, Youth and Sports, together with the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Health will organize online training with the participation of nurses from kindergartens in the municipality, on COVID-19 infection prevention measures for the children protection and safety.
