Chisinau Municipality represented at the 6th UNESCO International Conference of Learning Cities
Chisinau City Hall informs that Public Medical-Sanitary Institution Center COVID-19 Chisinau has benefited from a batch of computers and IT equipment which will be installed in the Single Command Center thus helping to process patient data. The technique is a donation from the United States Government and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP. There was an official event with the participation of Ion Ceban, the General Mayor and Dereck J. Hogan, E.S. US Ambassador to Moldova and UNDP representatives.
The Mayor of the capital thanked the US government and UNDP for their support noting that due to the information technology provided by donors it will be possible to stock and process patient data. Moreover the operators will have a connection with the hospitals in the city, thus, it will be possible to establish the institution where there are free places for transporting patients, depending on their severity.
"In this complicated situation that the whole world is currently going through, such gestures is a proof of the consolidation of all forces in the fight against the COVID pandemic. We, as a municipality, have made sustained efforts to equip the COVID-19 Center in Chisinau. We monitored the evolution of the works and equipped the 3 pavilions so that the sorting center can be useful for the care of coronavirus patients", Ion Ceban mentioned.
Currently, the municipality is concerned with arranging another specialized institution the COVID-19 Constructor Center provided for 120 people.
