Chisinau City Hall invites the citizens and guests of the capital, on December 23, 2023, from 17:00, in the Great National Assembly Square, to spend the winter holidays together!

We invite you to switch on the lights on the Christmas Tree and to inaugurate the Christmas Fair in the Great National Assembly Square.

On the stage set up in PMAN there will be a great concert with local artists: The "Voices of Spring" choir, the "Divertisment" Violinists Ensemble, pianists Iurie Mahovici and Anatol Lapicus, ETHNO REPUBLIC with Marcel Ștefăneț, Nelly Ciobanu, Cornelia Ștefăneț, Natalia Gordienko, Geta Burlacu, DARA, the "Brio Sonores" band, Aurel Chirtoacă, Adrian Ursu, Ion and Ruxanda Rață, Cristina and Sofia Scarlat, Viorica Lupu and the "Opincuța" folklore ensemble.

The evening will culminate with a recital by ȘTEFAN BĂNICĂ JUNIOR from Romania.

On New Year's Eve, 31 December 2023, starting at 20:30, we are waiting for you in the Great National Assembly Square for the musical show "New Year's Eve Feerie"! Celebrate the old year and meet the year 2024 with your favourite artists: The Santa Claus Orchestra, the Advahov Brothers and Zinaida Julea, the folk music and dance ensemble "Flueiraș" led by Edgar and Marcel Ștefăneț, Maria Iliuț and "Ivy Bough", the folklore ensemble "Romanița", Ethno-folklore ensemble "Ialoveneanca", Nelly Ciobanu, "Brio Sonores", Cornelia Stefaneț, Constantin Moscovici, Veta Ghimpu-Munteanu, Lenuța Gheorghiță, Cătălin Josan, Doina Sulac, SATOSHI, DARA, as well as groups of carolers and dancers.

Special guest - CARLA'S DREAMS.

On the eve of the Old Christmas Day, January 6, 2024, the inhabitants and guests of the capital are invited to the Great National Assembly Square, at 18:00, to the popular music and winter customs show "Christians, Christmas has arrived!"

On stage will perform: The folk music orchestra "Folclor", first conductor Petre Neamțu and soloists Vasile Iovu, Nicolae Paliț, Silvia Goncear, Vasile Rusu, Anatol Nunu, Viorica Moraru, Sorin Zberea, Diamanta Paterău, Valentin Butucel and Valentina Rusu, Maria Stoianov and the "Buciumul" Studio, the "Chișinău" Fanfare with Igor Rusu and the "Romanița" Folk Ensemble, the "Moldovlaska" Folk Music Orchestra and Adriana Ochișanu, Iulian Corochi, Corina Țepeș, Igor Cuciuc, Maria Iliuț and "Crenguță de Iederă".

In addition to the Christmas Tree, the Christmas Fair and musical performances, in the Great National Assembly Square and in the Square of the Metropolitan Cathedral "Nativity of God", the City Hall is setting up a skating rink, a carousel, an area for taking photos and other interesting things for all those who will celebrate in the city centre.
