The General Mayor of Chisinau, Ion Ceban, participated today, May 24, in the inauguration of the mural "Olympic Dream", a creation dedicated to Moldovan athletes who will compete at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

The mural, carefully crafted to capture the spirit and determination of our champions, celebrates the courage, dedication and passion of the Olympians.

In this context, Ion Ceban wished the athletes of the Olympic team, who have already qualified for the Paris Olympics, the best of luck and said that he is waiting for them at home with as many medals as possible.

"We wish the 14 qualified athletes every success. Know that we are with you, we are rooting for you and we are as excited as each of you. We hope that the flag of the Republic of Moldova and the state anthem will ring out at this extraordinary competition, which brings together the best athletes in the world", said the mayor of the capital.

At the same time, in partnership with the National Olympic and Sports Committee, Chisinau City Hall has launched a campaign to support the Republic of Moldova's Olympic Team at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games on three trolleybuses and two buses, with the slogan "Support the Olympic Team!".

The campaign to promote and support Olympic athletes will run from 24 May to 8 September 2024.

The 2024 Paris Olympic Games will take place from 26 July to 11 August.
