Chisinau City Hall has participated through a representative at the International Conference "Sharing good practices and management of COVID-19 at the municipalities' level".
The event was organized within the international exchange platform "Connective Cities", a project carried out by the German Association of Cities, with support from the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) and the Global Engagement Organization.
The project is coordinated by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
Boris Gîlca, Deputy Head of the General Department of Social Assistance and Health, Doctor of Medical Sciences, presented the experience and pandemic challenges within the Chisinau municipality, as well as the urban governance models implemented in the field of health.
The intervention models were described as interesting examples of municipal projects and policies for effective response to COVID-19 infection.
Selected best practices will be shared within the international network "Connective Cities" (www.connective-cities.net) which brings together 509 cities and more than 3000 experts in the field, with the intention of disseminating local knowledge at the international level.
