Chisinau City Hall informs that several municipal educational institutions received a grant of IT technique, as a donation, from the Chinese Embassy in Moldova, UNICEF Moldova and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research.

The donation contains 678 computers and has been distributed to 126 educational institutions within the capital and suburban localities. The IT technique distribution took into account the number of pupils and teaching staff, including the level of equipment provided by the institutions.

Moreover, in the context of compliance with the COVID – 19 safety and prevention measures, the educational institutions will receive 300 thermometers.

The value of donations is 4, 17 million lei.

During the year of 2020, General Department of Education, Culture, Youth and Sport  has purchased 1052 computers for the needs of educational institutions.
