The Youth Week in Chisinau (November 4-10) was launched on Monday, in the context of the National Youth Day, marked in 2024 on November 10.

     During this period, a series of activities will be carried out to inspire and motivate the involvement of young people in the community, and the municipality's appeal to this category of population is to get actively involved in the profile activities carried out by the Chisinau LPA.

     We also inform that the applications are open for the Municipal Volunteer Festival, 2nd edition, where the most active young people, volunteer coordinators, organizations and youth groups that have carried out volunteer actions during 2024 will be appreciated and awarded.

     Chisinau has been a leader in terms of youth involvement in recent years, and thanks to its established performance, the capital is a candidate city for the title of European Youth Capital. In this regard, the Chisinau Municipal Youth Center is in the final preparations to present the dossier to Brussels next week.

     The Director of the Chisinau Municipal Youth Center, Mr. Petru Grecu, said on Monday, during the weekly operational meeting, that during 2024 efforts were made to achieve this result, consulting young people through various activities: forums, focus groups, workshops, students, student councils, initiative groups, so that a positive result is expected.

     It is worth mentioning that the municipality of Chisinau also obtained membership this year.
