The Chisinau City Hall informs that this week the works has begun on two projects regarding the rehabilitation of the public space in the capital's Botanica sector: the rehabilitation of the pedestrian alley from 2-14 Dacia Blvd. (intersection of Hristo Botev street with Matei Millo street), as well as in the neighborhood of 19 Belgrade street.
Within the first mentioned project - the repair of the pedestrian lane at 2-14 Dacia bd., the parapet with stairs will be rehabilitated, as well as the sidewalk to the library "M. Lomonosov ".
It is worth mentioning that the alley will be completely renovated (approx. 2600m²). Thus, the used surface will be dismantled and new paving installed.
Regarding the central stairs at 2Dacia Blvd., we inform that they will be rebuilt, with some changes in appearance. Also, the steps around the library "M. Lomonosov "will be repaired, and all the descents from the alley to the boulevard Dacia will be reconstructed. The project also provides the arrangement of public lighting in the pedestrian area, as well as of the urban furniture (seats and trash cans).
The second area where development works are being carried out in the Botanica sector is the neighborhood of the address 19 Belgrade Street. Here the sidewalk will be repaired and 4 parking lots will be arranged (with ecological pavement), with a total area of 1700m².
Also, the works of designing the decorative public lighting in the square in Butucului Street, corner with Cuza - Voda Blvd.
Works for both projects will be completed by the end of this year.
It is worth mentioning that in 2019, 5 million lei per sector were planned for the reahabilitation of public space projects in the capital sectors, and most of the works have already been completed.
