The Chisinau City Hall reports that the number of temporary protection beneficiaries in the capital continues to grow.
Between March 1, 2023, and September 30, 2024, a total of 34,677 people have received temporary protection in the municipality of Chisinau.
Of these, 8,222 are children, and 26,455 are adults and elderly individuals.
The distribution by sectors is as follows:
- Suburbs: 11,660 beneficiaries
- Botanica: 7,405 beneficiaries
- Buiucani: 3,656 beneficiaries
- Centru: 4,639 beneficiaries
- Ciocana: 2,515 beneficiaries
- Râșcani: 4,802 beneficiaries
Since September 23, 2024, the number of beneficiaries has increased by 393 people.
Chisinau continues to be a key center for supporting those in need, providing protection and access to essential services.
