Chisinau City Hall informs that during the period: October 17-21, 2024, 117 out of 133 pre-school institutions, 9 general education institutions out of a total of 143 and 11 medical institutions out of a total of 69 units were connected to the heating system. Ion Burdiumov, the head of the General Department for Housing and Urbanization, presented the information.

The head of the DGLCA made it clear that the delivery of thermal agent in the new cold season takes place at the request of managers of educational and medical institutions, depending on the needs of each institution.

As for the residential blocks, they are connected at the request of the tenants to the housing fund manager and that it is not obligatory to connect all the blocks and all the institutions at the date of signing by the LPA of the provision about the opening of the new heating season. At the same time, Ion Burdiumov said that the manager ensures the regulation of the delivered thermal agent in order to meet the needs of the tenants.

According to the source, the municipal housing fund is 100 percent ready for the start of the heating season. Previously, hydropneumatic flushing, hydraulic control works were carried out, and now 100% of the technical passports of the blocks are signed. As for the blocks belonging to other forms of ownership: ACC, APLP, CCL, etc., they are 71% ready.

In his turn, Andrei Pavaloi, deputy head of the General Directorate of Education, Youth and Sport, said that the vast majority of kindergartens in Chisinau have already been connected to the heating system (110 units out of 130 under municipal supervision). As for the situation in the suburbs, out of 27 pre-school institutions, 12 are connected, and the responsibility for providing these kindergartens with thermal agent lies with the mayors of the cities, communes and villages within the municipality.

With reference to the general educational institutions, Andrei Pavaloi said that 4 units are now connected, and as a rule, their connection to the centralized source takes place when the students return from the autumn break (now being the last week of activity until the holiday).
