"I am grateful to you, Excellency, for the initiative to meet together and for finding time to visit Chisinau  City Hall. We rely much on the friendship and experience of  the Russian large cities in terms of developing urban infrastructure and increasing the standard of living" said Ion Ceban at the beginning of the discussion.

In his turn, the Russian Ambassador Vasnetsov congratulated the mayor of the capital with the beautiful victory in the election campaign. "We will be happy to facilitate communication between Chisinau and the big cities from Russia, and I am sure the mayors of our cities will be willing to give you support and assistance."

The General Mayor and the Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Chisinau have agreed on a joint action agenda for the coming months, which will involve mutual visits and bilateral projects.
