Chisinau Municipality represented at the 6th UNESCO International Conference of Learning Cities
Today, the General Mayor of Chisinau Municipality Mr. Ion Ceban attended the opening of the third International Business Forum "Moldova 2020 - shaping future international business cooperation" which is in its 3rd edition.
The meeting is scheduled for January 29 - February 2, current, and is organized within the National Exhibition "Made in Moldova" from the International Exhibition Center "Moldexpo".
During the official opening of the event, the Mayor reiterated that the meeting was long-awaited and necessary for the business environment, both at the republican level, and, in particular, for the municipality. The largest economic agents work in Chisinau, and it is necessary to create the best investment opportunities.
Ion Ceban expressed his conviction that by developing collaboration with the Public Property Agency, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Organization for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises and others, it is possible to attract investments for the Chisinau municipality development.
"Currently, we are working on updating a list of public-private partnerships for business projects, starting from infrastructure fields to tourism. We are ready to help every entrepreneur who wants to invest in the municipality. In the nearest future we will develop a cooperation strategy in this regard" said the General Mayor .
Also, during the Forum, Deputy Mayor Mrs. Inga Ionesi made a presentation on the opportunities and prospects that the local public administration of Chisinau can provide. " You have all the commitment from the administration and the municipality team takes on the responsibility to create conditions for all investors in Chisinau" said the Deputy mayor responsible for the economic field.
It should be noted that more than 250 economic agents from 15 countries, including the Republic of Moldova, participate in the meeting, representing various sectors: agriculture, the agri-food industry, information and telecommunications technologies, the construction sector, renewable energy, etc.
