Ion Ceban, the General Mayor of Chisinau participates between February 18^th and 20^th, 2020 in the works of the 34th edition of the International Forum of Urban Planners which takes place in Tel Aviv.

The event is organized by the Federation of Local Authorities of Israel which is attended by over 100 mayors from several countries around the world, representatives of companies in the field of IT, transport, construction and infrastructure, energy and engineering and experts in sustainable urban development.

The Forum's work agenda includes various topics related to the economic development of local communities, security and cyber security issues which aim to increase people's quality of life through the use of innovations and advanced technologies.

Ion Ceban, the General Mayor mentioned that the state of Israel is a global leader in the field of technology use in the public sector, agriculture, cyber security and digitalization of medicine and innovations and management implemented in other cities can be applied in Chisinau.

"It is a useful experience for the municipality, because the information presented by the participating mayors focuses on problems faced by most cities. Together with the business environment we try to identify new business opportunities that would offer local administrations innovative visions, products and services to improve the quality of life of citizens ", the General Mayor  underlined.
