Chisinau City Hall informs that the Government of Japan will finance the purchase of equipment and accessories for colposcopy: colposcope, gynaecological chair and electro-surgical devices (diathermocoagulator) in the amount 44663 USD (equivalent to 797000 MDL), for the Consultative - Diagnostic Centre of Riscani sector.

The official signing ceremony for the grant agreement occurred on Thursday, November 23, 2023, at IMSP AMT Râșcani, as part of the 'Kusanone' program. The agreement was signed by the Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Moldova, Yamada Yoichiro, and the Director of the Râșcani Territorial Medical Association, Valentina Pîslaru. The deputy mayor of Chisinau municipality, Angela Cutasevici, also attended the event.

This equipment is essential for providing cervical screening services and other gynecological investigations at the specified medical institution.

The 'Kusanone' Human Security Grant Programme has previously supported various projects, including the purchase of a high-performance ultrasound scanner for Family Doctors' Centre No. 2, improvements to infrastructure and working conditions at Kindergarten No. 225 in the Ciocana sector, and other significant initiatives for the development of Chisinau municipality.
