Chisinau City Hall will offer sweets to children from early education institutions on the occasion of winter holidays 2020-2021.

General Department of Education, Youth and Sports will buy over 30700 gifts worth 768475 lei, accompanied by certificates of compliance, to be distributed to the children attending the kindergarten. The money was identified by the General Department of Education, Youth and Sports as a result of savings formed during the current year. The cost of a gift is 25 lei and will contain sweets and biscuits in the assortment.

In the 134 early education institutions in Chisinau, 30,739 children are enrolled.

In the context of the pandemic situation due to COVID-19 infection, Chisinau City Hall reminds that the holiday’s manifestations in kindergartens on the occasion of Christmas and New Year will be held only in groups, without the presence of parents and other people outside the kindergartens. At the same time, the local public administration authorities prohibit the collection of money for gifts, Christmas tree, Christmas tree toys and other taxes.
