On Wednesday, General Mayor Ion Ceban received a delegation from St. Petersburg (Russian Federation), which visited the City Hall.

The delegation includes specialists from institutes for the design, improvement of the city of St. Petersburg and the development of the infrastructure. Between February 12-14, they will be in Chisinau in order to provide support, carry out an examination and exchange experiences regarding the development of projects to modernize the capital.

Within two days, a delegation from St. Petersburg together with representatives of the municipal Institutions and Departments responsible for public transport, housing and communal services, architecture, urban planning and the CHIȘNĂUPROIECT Municipal Design Institute will visit several enterprises and strategic facilities in Chisinau that will be comprehensively modernized. These are public gardens and recreation areas, municipal enterprises EXDRUPO, Electric Transport  Department, Apă - Canal Chișinău JSC, Green Space  Management Association and Circus.

The capital's Mayor, Ion Ceban, expressed hope that the meeting would lay the foundations for mutually beneficial cooperation, and this would have a positive effect on the Chisinau municipality. "We appreciate the support of St. Petersburg and believe that their experience and help will be useful to us, since we have a list of projects that need development and implementation," the mayor emphasized
