Suceava County Council has completed the implementation of the project "Specialization of partners from the Republic of Moldova in project management", funded by the Department for Relations with the Republic of Moldova of the Romanian Government. The total value of the project is 143,293.50 lei and the implementation period is 4 months, i.e. 1 July - 30 November 2023.

The general objective of the action was to increase the capacity of 30 people from the Republic of Moldova to access non-reimbursable funds from the European Union, which will contribute to the formation of a new generation to represent the interests of Romania in relation to the Republic of Moldova, namely its accession to the European Union in the shortest possible time.

Through this project, a number of 30 people from the administrative-territorial units of the Republic of Moldova, partners with Suceava County (the city of Cricova, the municipality of Chisinau and the districts of Soroca, Stefan Voda, Singerei and Riscani), participated between 10 August and 10 November 2023, in a specialization course in the occupation of Project Manager, accredited by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection and the Ministry of Education of Romania, conducted in online format.

From 19 to 25 November 2023, the 30 trainees from the Republic of Moldova visited Suceava county, where they visited 8 localities: Suceava, Siret, Dărmănești, Gura Humorului, Putna, Bălceana, Fălticeni and Salcea, where projects with non-reimbursable funding from the European Union or the Romanian Government were implemented, during which they held discussions with people involved in the implementation of the projects presented.
