The Chisinau City Hall organized for the first time the "DOR de Chisinau" Festival, an event that brought together Moldovans from all over the world who have been living abroad for many years.

Together with their loved ones back home, Moldovans from the diaspora enjoyed an exceptional musical performance by popular artists.

They admired art exhibitions, met writers, visited the handicrafts and crafts fair, took part in creative workshops and watched movie screenings.

"Longing brings us together. Family, the childhood home, the places that remind us of our childhood, all make us all long to come home. We see ourselves HOME, in Chisinau, every time with great longing and love," said the Mayor General of the Capital, Ion Ceban.

The "DOR de Chisinau" Festival is an emotional journey to the roots, an event that the municipality aims to turn into an annual tradition.
