Chisinau City Hall today presented a batch of five cars for snow removal and maintenance of road infrastructure in the city. The year of manufacture of the usage trucks is 2017.  The trucks were donated by the Unitary State Enterprise "Ecotehprom" from Moscow.

The trucks are on the KAMAZ platform and the special integrated equipment is manufactured by world-renowned specialized companies. Tree special vehicles from this lot are additionally provided with street washing equipment.

Present at the event, Ion Ceban, the General Mayor mentioned that the need for such multifunctional machines is a pressing one for Chisinau municipality, in the context that the snow machines from the "EXDRUPO"  are mostly old and periodically break down.

"This donation came as a result of the discussions I had with the Moscow city administration in January, where I asked Serghei Sobianin, the Mayor for support in this regard. And the purchase of 5 new equipment of this kind would have cost the municipality about 2.1 million lei, sources that we did not have at that time ", the Mayor declared.

It should be noted that the current need of the company "EXDRUPO" is at least 30 more such units. Currently, the Department has a total of 68 special trucks that can intervene in snow removal, 21 of which are multifunctional machines, which can sweep the snow and press anti-slip. Next, the municipality provides for the completion of the car park of M.E. "Exdrupo".
