The Chisinau Municipality was represented at the World Urban Forum held in Cairo, Egypt
The General Mayor, Ion Ceban, on a working visit to Portugal, attended the solemn ceremony marking the 114th anniversary of the establishment of the Portuguese Republic, at the invitation of the Mayor of Lisbon, Carlos Moedas.
The Mayor noted that the event was attended by the country's top leadership, including the President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, the Prime Minister, Luis Montenegro, and the President of Parliament, José Pedro Aguiar-Branco.
The Mayor of Chișinău praised the strong relations between the two capitals and extended his best wishes to the Portuguese Republic on its anniversary.
