The General Mayor, Ion Ceban is on working visit to Austria and on Monday he met with his counterpart, Michael Ludwig, Mayor of  Vienna.

The topic of discussions between two mayors focused on managing the pandemic situation of COVID -19 at the capital level, taking over good practices on infrastructure issues: urban development, waste management, landscaping etc.

During the same meeting, Ion Ceban referred in particular to the strategic documents in process of elaboration: the development strategy of Chisinau and the General Urban Plan of the capital, also mentioning the Investment Map, a project in which the Mayor wants collaboration with specialists from Vienna.

The Mayor of Chisinau thanked his counterpart for the opportunity to have a joint dialogue and invited Michael Ludwig to Chisinau for the autumn of this year, when the Chisinau Investment Forum will take place.

During his visit to Vienna, Ion Ceban has planned meetings with various representatives of Austrian institutions, in order to take over good practices.
