Chisinau City Hall informs that the CityWALK 2.0 Project, financed by the European Union, has been officially launched within the Transnational Programme for the Danube Region 2021-2027.

Based on the decision approved by the Chisinau Municipal Council to accept the funding, the Directorate-General for architecture, urbanism and land relations officially became the partner of the project, along with 13 other partners and 8 associated partners, from 11 countries of the Danube basin region.

Thus, between March 13th and 14th, at the headquarters of the Austrian partner represented by the University of Technology Vienna (TU Wien), members of the team from Chisinau attend the launch event of the CITYWALK 2.0 Project. Here are planned the future actions that will be carried out within the project.

During the two days, interactive workshops are organized to plan the activities and actions of the project.

Participants have the opportunity to learn more about each partner of this project, as well as get acquainted in detail with the best practices related to CITYWALK.

The CITYWALK 2.0 project will be implemented by the consortium of partners for 30 months, by mid-2026.

The stated aim of the Project is to improve mobility conditions in partner cities by using scientific support tools developed in the consortium.

In Chisinau will be developed a participatory action plan and implemented a pilot project for the redevelopment of a street.
