Chisinau City Hall informs that the network of multifunctional stadiums is expanding in the suburbs.
In Gratiesti commune, a new multifunctional sports ground is in the final stage of construction, which will include areas for volleyball, basketball and field tennis. The stadium is located near the "Gratiesti" Theoretical High School and will be accessible to all residents who wish to practice outdoor sports.
The project is realized with funds allocated by the Chisinau City Hall and the Gratiesti City Hall. 1.05 million MDL was allocated from the municipal budget for the first stage of construction, and this year one million lei has been budgeted for the completion of the works.
Last year, the City Hall fully financed the construction of sports grounds for kindergartens in Gratiesti and Hulboaca, providing over 200 pre-school children with modern conditions for physical activities. The total investment amounted to around 800,000 MDL from the municipal budget.
Chisinau City Hall continues to prioritize the development of sports infrastructure in the capital and suburbs. With the municipality's involvement, multifunctional stadiums and sports fields have been built and rehabilitated in Vatra, Stauceni, Cricova, Cruzesti, Budesti, Vadul lui Voda, Bacioi and Dobrogea.
