Chisinau City Hall informs that the building of the former gymnasium no. 6, from bd. Cuza-Voda, 17/2, Botanica District will be returned to the municipality. A decision in this regard was adopted by the Chisinau Municipal Council.

We remind that the activity of the nominated educational institution was suspended in September 2012, and the students and teachers were transferred to the High School "Traian", from Cuza Vodă Blvd., 36.

However, given that currently the surrounding institutions do not have vacancies (High School "Traian", High School "Nicolae Iorga", High School "Mihai Eminescu"), and the demand for children's schooling is growing, LPA Chisinau decided to identify solutions for optimizing and developing the network of educational institutions, in the administered territory, to ensure the schooling of all children, but also to create the conditions for organizing a quality educational process.

Ion Ceban, the General Mayor declared that the municipal authorities will evaluate the technical condition of the school building no. 6, after which it will be repaired and, respectively, the institution will be reopened for children.
