Chisinau Municipality represented at the 6th UNESCO International Conference of Learning Cities
Ion Ceban, the General Mayor, has visited the kindergarten no.171 from Bacioi commune, Hamzeu sector, Chisinau municipality, which resumed its activity, after capital repairs, with the municipality financial support.
The kindergarten has a capacity of 50 seats and 15 staff units. The institution was reopened on January 4, after being repaired during 2020. The rehabilitation works included the replacement of the roof, with the improvement of ventilation system, thermal insulation of the facade, rehabilitation of engineering networks, construction of a new annex, which includes a dressing room, a party hall, medical office, insulator, laundry, etc.
In the group rooms, the power grid was restored, with the replacement of lighting units and new furniture was purchased, including for the kitchen.
A pavement was also provided throughout the building.
The capital's Mayor has visited the education institutions in the Bacioi commune at various repair stages and followed the realization of the projects financed from the municipal budget. "A year ago there was a small building with a roof and damaged floors. Today we have a comfortable kindergarten, with decent conditions, both for the little ones and for the employees ", Ion Ceban said.
The reopening of kindergarten no. 171 follows the self-assessment report on public health and safety, including the health and protection rules for COVID-19, coordinated and approved by the relevant authorities (NPHA and NFSA on 29.12.2020).
The project costs on the kindergarten rehabilitation no. 171 were covered from the municipal and local budget sources (70%: 30%).
We remind you that during 2020, in the Bacioi commune it was reopened after the capital repair, kindergarten no. 101, and in the following period, the kindergarten no.140 is also to be reopened.
Over 8 million lei were allocated from the municipal budget in 2020 for the Bacioi commune. Several infrastructure projects have been carried out from these sources.
