Chisinau Municipality represented at the 6th UNESCO International Conference of Learning Cities
The General Mayor of Chisinau, Ion Ceban, received today the Ambassadors of Indonesia and Poland, accredited in the Republic of Moldova.
During the talks, the Mayor informed foreign diplomats about the ongoing projects in Chisinau, in the fields of infrastructure, urbanism, architecture, but also in the real sector of the economy and attracting investments.
"We informed the Ambassador of Indonesia to the Republic of Moldova, Muhammad Amhar Azeth, that the City Hall intends to organize in October the " Investment Forum ". We are willing to collaborate with those who contribute to the development of the city," said the General Mayor.
At the same time, Ion Ceban mentioned in the discussion with His Excellency, Bartlomiej Zdaniuk, the Ambassador of Poland that he wants the city of Chisinau to conclude a twinning agreement with the city of Warsaw, in order to collaborate on various fields, including taking over good practices about administration.
,,The capital of Moldova needs modernization and development, having an enormous economic potential, which has not been capitalized. I want Chisinau City Hall to become a transparent institution by the end of the year, closer to its inhabitants.
The Ambassadors of Indonesia and Poland were open to support the municipality in the modernization projects of Chisinau.
