The Chisinau City Halls informs that a delegation of 55 school students and trainers of Municipal Sport Schools have attended the Tricolor Festival, that is deploying during the period of July 22 - August 1 at Reggio Emilia, Italy.

The guests of the festival will participate at various sport contests: Volleyball , Basketball, swimming, taekwon-do and ping-pong.

The members of Chisinau Municipality delegation have been selected within the Sport Schools under the General Department of Educations, Youth and Sport.

Tricolor Festival od Reggio Emilia city hosts contests and sport displays, spectacles, workshops, cultural and educational events, to facilitate sports in the process of child growth, aggregation and interaction between people and cultures.

Chisinau City Hall invests important resources to prepare professional sport people and participate at national and international contests, to create favorable environment for youths to practice various types of sport and spent their free time actively moving.

Reggio Emilia is a city of Emilia Romagna region. Chisinau has a twinning agreement with the city since 1989. The city is also called the City of Tricolor, because in 1797 it was there to be adopted the Italian tricolor.
