Chisinau City Hall informs that during today all preschool institutions in the capital will be connected to the centralized heating source. At the same time, since last week, 59 kindergartens in the Centre, Ciocana and Botanica districts have been receiving heating.

Viorica Negrei, deputy head of the General Department for Education, Youth and Sport, presented information on this subject at an operational meeting of municipal services on Monday.

According to the official, starting from Monday, with the return of students from the autumn holidays, all primary and secondary schools will gradually be connected to the heating system.

Also, 54 municipal institutions in the social and medical sphere are 100% ready to receive the thermal agent. And connection to the centralised heat source will take place once the air temperature changes.

According to Marina Buga, Deputy Head of the General Departament for Medical and Social Assistance, the air temperature in children's medical institutions is monitored and alternative heating sources are connected as needed.

In this context, the deputy mayor of the capital, Ilie Ceban, said that the managers of institutions can request the delivery of thermal agent if necessary, in order to avoid thermal discomfort for the beneficiaries. At the same time, the infrastructure of the city's housing blocks is ready to receive this service.
