During the operative meeting of Chisinau City Hall services on Monday, General Mayor Ion Ceban congratulated all employees of the municipal medical system on the occasion of the Professional Day of the medical worker and pharmacist, celebrated on Sunday, for their dedication and continuous work, standing at the guard of the health of all residents.

"We have the best and most qualified doctors, medical workers and pharmacists - extraordinary people, with whom we have overcome multiple major crises in recent times.

We want to have a developed system throughout the country, motivating salaries for all employees in the system and better conditions for patients. We will continue to invest in creating better conditions in healthcare institutions," the mayor added.

The Chisinau Local Public Administration has invested about 500 million lei in rehabilitating medical institutions, opening new wards, making buildings more energy-efficient and purchasing modern equipment.
