Mayor General Mr. Ion Ceban received today Her Excellency Ambassador of Italy to the Republic of Moldova Valeria Biagiotti, who is completing her mission in Moldova.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the aspects of cooperation between the Chisinau City Hall and the Italian Embassy, ​​including the support provided by the diplomatic mission for a long period.

The head of the capital thanked for the excellent cooperation, noting the intention of the municipality to implement joint projects in Chisinau in the field of tourism, culture, business, trade, etc.

 "Any experience and exchange of good practices is welcome. We are also waiting for the normalization of the epidemiological situation after COVID-19, so that residents of both countries can again freely cross the border, " mentioned the mayor.

Mr. Ion Ceban expressed his conviction that the diplomatic mission will continue to support the cooperation between Chisinau and Rome, which is a reliable partner of the municipality.
