The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Italian Republic, Luigi Di Maio, visited today the Placement Center for Refugees from Ukraine.

The head of the Italian diplomacy was accompanied by the General Mayor, Ion Ceban, who informed him about the services offered by the municipalities to the Ukrainian refugees at the two pavilions arranged on the territory of the Moldexpo.

Luigi Di Maio thanked the Chisinau City Hall, the volunteers, as well as all the staff involved in creating the necessary conditions for refugees, especially mothers with minor children, the elderly and people with special needs.

In this context, in order to provide the necessary medical support, the Italian side has made available to the refugees a mobile clinic, which, if necessary, can be directed to other placement centers in the capital.

At the same time, were donated 100 boxes of food, which will be distributed to refugees.

In his turn, the Mayor General thanked all the officials, partners, business associates, economic agents, citizens and volunteers who are not indifferent to the situation of Ukrainian refugees in Chisinau.
