Chisinau Municipality represented at the 6th UNESCO International Conference of Learning Cities
The Chisinau City Hall sends its condolences to the family, relatives and loved ones of the Maestro Mihai Amihalachioaie, conductor of the Municipal Chamber Orchestra "Camerata Chisinau", who passed away after a difficult suffering.
The artist was born on 23 February 1961 in the village of Molnita, Herta district, Chernivtsi region, Ukraine. He studied music at the "Stefan Neaga" College, then at the "Gavriil Muzicescu" State Conservatory, specialising in piano, accordion and folk orchestra conducting.
In 1997 he graduated from the second faculty of the Academy of Music, Theatre and Fine Arts, majoring in symphonic and opera conducting.
Mihai Amihalachioaie began his musical career on the professional scene in 1985 as an accordionist and conductor of the folk music orchestra of the "Busuioc Moldovenesc" ensemble. In 1998 he collaborated as a conductor with the National Philharmonic, the National Chamber Orchestra and the Symphonic Orchestra of the Chisinau Radio and Television.
The musician was the conductor of the Municipal Chamber Orchestra „Camerata Chisinau”, accordionist, conductor of the orchestra of folk music, symphony and opera.
In 2001, for the entire activity, the conductor was awarded the honorary title „Master in Art”.
Mihai Amihalachioaie dedicated his entire life to music. The artist said that the younger generation should be educated through music, because it cultivates goodness in people.
