The General Mayor of Chisinau, Ion Ceban, was awarded with "Diploma of first degree from the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova ", as a sign of gratitude and highly appreciation for substantial contributions in the exercise of duties, for devotion and professionalism.

The distinction was granted by the Legislative President, Zinaida Greceanîi, on the occasion of the Day of local autonomy and professional holiday of worker in public administration, marked annually on February 1.  

Ion Ceban, qualifies the awarding as a reward for the efforts made by the Chisinau Local Public Authorities, in order to achieve the objectives and commitments assumed towards the citizens.

"Our common mission is to provide solutions to the capital's problems, to provide better public services and to improve the quality of life of the city's inhabitants and suburbs!", said the mayor.

During the event, diplomas of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova were also given to the mayors of the localities within the Chisinau municipality.
