Officials from the Chisinau City Hall are participating today in the formal events organized in several cities across the Prut River on the occasion of Romania's National Day.

A municipal delegation, led by Deputy Mayor Irina Gutnic, attended the solemn ceremony held in the Capital of the Great Union - Alba Iulia.

Another delegation, with officials from the Rascani District, led by District Prefect Mihai Furculita, is participating in the events dedicated to the December 1st holiday in the city of Targu Mures, Romania.

The Republic of Moldova, and especially the city of Chisinau, has established positive cooperative relationships with Romania, considering the strong historical and cultural ties that generate cooperation and mutual support.

The city of Chisinau has signed twinning agreements with several administrative-territorial units across the Prut.

Moreover, the municipality cooperates with cities in Romania in various fields and implements joint projects in areas such as education, culture, and infrastructure.
