Chisinau City Hall informs that during the period: November 11-17, 2024, the "Exdrupo" Company and the contractors contracted by the General Department of Urban Mobility carried out road repair and maintenance works in all sectors of the municipality.

Thus, the teams of the "Exdrupo" Company intervened mainly to liquidate the situations of damage to public roads, but also to repair the excavations made by the managers of the public utilities networks, and hot asphalt fillings were made.

On Melestiu Street, suppressed asphaltic concrete was distributed and compacted, and on Natalia Gheorghiu Street, work was carried out on profiling and landscaping the pavement.

At the same time, elevated pedestrian crossings were installed on Bucuriei, Andrei Doga, Ion and Doina Aldea-Teodorovici streets.

In order to maintain the rainwater system in good working conditions, 43 elements of the network were repaired during this period, with the installation of gratings, fountains and concrete elements. Another 80 manholes were cleaned of debris and sludge.

In order to increase road traffic safety, measures were continued to apply cross road markings and yellow road markings, in particular in the areas of waiting stations.

Given the specific weather conditions of the period, the markings were applied on an area of over 400 m², and these actions will continue this week, when it is planned to apply longitudinal markings and miscellaneous markings on bd. Moscow and Ciuflea streets.

With the same aim of increasing traffic safety, 74 new road signs were installed in places where they were missing, damaged or stolen, and another 57 signs were repaired. At the intersection of Academiei and Hincesti streets, traffic guidance and separation elements were installed.

As part of the projects managed by the Directorate General of Urban Mobility, work continued on the rehabilitation of pedestrian areas on Mihai Eminescu, Mihail Kogalniceanu and bd. Renasterii Nationale (in front of the Chisinau Circus).

Capital repairs were also carried out on the bridge on Mihai Viteazul Street, access roads to the city's educational institutions and roads connecting with the suburbs were improved.

At the same time, the preparatory works for the repair of accesses and sidewalks in the courtyards of residential blocks were started.
