Today, the Mayor General, had a discussion at the Moldexpo Refugee Center with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of Spain, Jose Manuel Albares Bueno.

The mayor informed the high official about the conditions created by the municipal authorities for refugees from Ukraine: space arranged from the first day, with separate areas in order to provide psychological, legal, medical assistance, transport and food 3 times / day, including buffet.

Jose Manuel Albares Bueno was impressed by the conditions created at the Refugee Center in such a short time.

In this context, Ion Ceban mentioned that in the last 3 weeks, the "Moldexpo" Center has been transformed into a real Hub, both for sorting and helping refugees from Ukraine, as well as a shelter, with special conditions. The mayor thanked the City Hall team, but also all the volunteers, people in good faith for the work done during this period.

Ion Ceban informed the Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs that the municipal authorities are in the process of transferring the rooms to the central authorities.
