Chisinau City Hall informs that Chisinau city attractions and sights are being promoted these days at the European Fair - ITB Berlin through the Visit Chisinau platform. It is the first participation of this kind at the largest fair dedicated to the tourism industry, which takes place from 5-7 March 2024.

      More than 10,000 exhibitors from 189 countries around the world gather annually in Germany's capital to showcase their offerings and attract new partnerships.    

          This year, visitors to the Visit Chisinau stand are invited to discover historical and cultural routes in the mun. #Chisinau.

          The General Mayor of Chisinau Municipality, Ion Ceban, visited today the stand of the Republic of Moldova at the European Fair dedicated to the tourism industry - ITB Berlin, where Chisinau is represented by a delegation of the Chisinau City Hall.

          "In the last few years, the Chisinau City Hall has carried out several projects for the development of tourism in Chisinau municipality. We continue to pay more attention to this area, so that the capital of the Republic of Moldova is known all over the world", Ion Ceban noted.

     The stand of the Republic of Moldova can also be found in Hall 11.2, stand 103, where visitors can discover:

- airlines operating flights to and from the capital of Moldova;

- authentic rural tourism experiences, awarded in international competitions;

- the wine heritage of #Moldova;

- the "Tree of Life" cultural calendar, which includes 40 annual events and festivals across the country.

     It should be mentioned that the Republic of Moldova is an active participant in this event, presenting year after year its tourist offer and the new products available. At the current edition of the ITB Berlin fair, 15 tourism companies from Moldova and representatives of the Chisinau City Hall delegation are participating.
