The Deputy Mayor, Mrs Angela Cutasevici convened in a working meeting with representatives of the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), which provides support to the Chisinau local public administration in the Campaign "Help me to help you!".  The initiative aims to inform the refugee community about the specialized services provided by municipal institutions.

The specialists from the Chisinau City Hall presented in the meeting the first statistical data accumulated after the Campaign and formulated the most important problems faced by Ukrainian citizens in Chisinau.

Until the present, 608 refugee children were registered, mostly between the ages of 7 and 15. Of the total number of mapped minors, none are at imminent risk. The most important needs stated by refugee families with children are: providing food, medicine and basic necessities. In this regard, the beneficiaries are informed by the specialists from General Department for the Protection of Children's Rights where they can go to receive the goods they need.

The specialists trained in the Campaign mentioned that the beneficiaries are quite receptive and open to communication, they really need support, both informational and humanitarian, in order to have a better life during their stay in Chisinau.
