Chisinau City Hall informs that today, August 12, young people from all over the world are celebrating the International Youth Day!

On the occasion of the International Youth Day, the General Mayor Ion Ceban congratulated and appreciated their active involvement in the development of the youth sector in Chisinau municipality.

"In a period marked by challenges and changes, you have demonstrated determination, innovation and the power to turn ideas into reality. Thanks to your constant efforts and dedication, we managed to achieve a remarkable result - Chisinau reached the finals for the title of European Youth Capital 2027! Your involvement has been crucial to our success so far, but we still have a lot to do to ensure that Chisinau becomes a model of excellence in youth participation in the life of the community," said Ion Ceban.

In recent years, Chisinau City Hall has been able to greatly increase the capacity and opportunity to reach out to a growing number of young people through the creation and modernization of 5 Municipal Youth Centers, various services, including the launch of the Municipal Grants Program for Youth Initiative Groups in Chisinau Municipality in every sector of the Capital.

"I am confident that, through our common work, we will manage to strengthen a dynamic youth sector and bring positive and sustainable changes in Chisinau", concluded Ion Ceban.
