The Chisinau Municipality informs that the volunteers registered as part of the campaign will assist 170 social workers and 90 assistants of the General Department of Social Assistance and Health.

Their activity is to help people at risk (pensioners, elderly people and people with disabilities) from the Chisinau municipality who receive social assistance from local public authorities.

The beneficiaries will be visited by social workers along with the volunteers, the beneficiaries will present their ID cards.

At the same time, two green lines for information were launched today:

0800-00080 (health)

0800-00090 (social assistance)

Citizens who need help during a state of emergency in the Republic due to the danger of infection with COVID-19 can call for information.

The members of the crisis cell within the framework of the Social Assistance Office will inform the beneficiaries by telephone about precautionary measures, as well as will receive the requests, which will then be solved by social workers together with volunteers.
