General Mayor Ion Ceban met on Wednesday with H.E. Mr. Edgars Bondars, Ambassador of Latvia in Chisinau.
The two officials discussed the projects realized together with Latvian colleagues, as well as the exchange of experience that the two capitals have in various fields.
The Mayor of the capital thanked the head of the Latvian diplomatic mission for his support, openness and the friendly relations that have been strengthened over the years.
It is worth mentioning that on September 9, 2024, General Mayor Ion Ceban and his Riga counterpart Vilnis Ķirsis signed the Letter of Intent on expanding cooperation between the two municipalities.
