The Chisinau City Hall informs that today, May 12, starting at 18:00, at the Summer Theater in the capital, the first jazz music concert will take place, as part of the weekly music program "Jazz in the Park".

The initiative belongs to the municipality and jazz musicians and aims to develop the city community and to bring music of different genres closer to the people, as well as to offer artists an easily accessible stage.

The performances (Jam Session) will take place every Wednesday at the Summer Theater and will be organized at half capacity of the seats (3300). The places will be marked in order to keep the social distance according to the safety measures recommended by the specialists.

Tickets for the "Jazz in the Park" editions can be purchased at the Summer Theater at the price of 50 lei, and on the day of the concert, pensioners, students and pupils will be able to pay half-price tickets (at the entrance ).

The Summer Theater is the largest open-air theater in Europe, built in 1957, with a capacity of 6,700 seats.
