Prevention of Animal Cruelty – International Online Trainings

Chisinau City Hall informs that on February 24 and 27, 2021, two online international webinars will be held in the capital, where it will be discussed the issue of preventing cruelty to animals.

The events are organized by the NGO "Human Society", the Department for Animal Control and Protection in Chisinau, within the Directorate General of Communal Housing and Planning, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova and the British organizations Hidden-in-Sight and Naturewatch Foundation

The first webinar will take place on February 24, between 10:00 and 15:00 and is addressed to police officers, ANSA and the Animal Control and Protection Division of the Chisinau municipality.

The second webinar, "How to establish effective collaboration between law enforcement, activists and volunteers", will take place on February 27, from 17:00 to 20:00 and is addressed to NGOs, volunteers and activists.

The moderator of the webinars will be Mark Rendell, expert and president of the Naturewatch Foundation and Hidden-in-Sight, a former police officer with extensive experience in investigating serious organized crime cases and over 8 years of experience in investigating animal related crimes.

Webinars will be provided with translation in Romanian and Russian.
