The Chisinau City Hall informs that the newly arranged fountain, in the "Alunelul" Park, has been put into the service. Composed of 284 water jets and lights it is a pedestrian one, so that people will be able to pass the water sources, arranged in the form of circles. The fountain will be open during the warm period, between 18: 00-21: 00.

Ion Ceban, General Mayor took part in the testing of the fountain and saw the reaction of the people who saw it for the first time. The mayor wanted to note that this place will become more popular for the inhabitants of the Buiucani District, especially in the summer, when people will take refuge here to watch the music and light show.

In this context, Ion Ceban also said that the municipality aims to rehabilitate all recreational areas in the capital, so that citizens have the opportunity to rest with their families, near their homes.

The water jets of the fountain are illuminated in different colors and will move to the rhythm of the music, up to a height of 10 meters. The sound system is not functional yet, but it is to be activated with the arrangement of the video surveillance system in the Park.

The fountain was installed by a Moldovan company (AQA Design), in common with an economic agent from Cluj Napoca. The fountain is part of the project to rehabilitate the Alunelul Park.
