The Chisinau City Hall informs that hundreds of people, employees of municipal subdivisions and enterprises, are trained daily in the "General Spring Cleaning" sanitation campaign.

Thus, during the past week: 04-10 March 2024, the city's specialized services carried out sanitation works in underpasses, street sweeping, washing the roadside and sidewalks.

Sanitation work was also carried out in the city's parks and squares, with several trips to remove branches, rubbish and foliage. Here too, work was carried out to clear trees and shrubs, remove stumps, and clean and thin flower beds.

Manual intervention was carried out in the courtyards of apartment blocks, including on playgrounds and sports fields, on platforms for household waste collection, at public transport waiting stations, etc.

Demolition work was also carried out on improvised/authorised objects on public land: kiosks, gates, fences and anti-parking devices.

Worn metal items were dismantled and removed from residential block yards and children's playgrounds.
