Chisinau City Hall informs that today the rehabilitation works of the underground from 18/1 Dacia Boulevard, intersection with Teilor street, Botanica district, have been completed, and Ion Ceban, General Mayor, together with Ilie Ceban, Deputy Mayor and the district Pretor, Diana Guba, inspected the objective, in order to ensure the quality of the work done.

The Mayor was pleased with the condition of the object after the rehabilitation. "Half a year ago here it was a disaster and impossible to cross, and now we see well-done repairs. We are glad that in these projects we are supported by the capital's economic agents. This year we intend to start the repair works in 5 underground passages", Ion Ceban mentioned. 

The repair works of the underground passage from bd. Dacia 18/1, intersection with Teilor street, began at the end of July 2020 and consisted of the complete rehabilitation of the walls, ceiling, stairs, with ramps for people with reduced mobility and roof. Also, according to the project, the lighting system has been renovated and the storm sewer network was cleaned. In order to secure the objective, video surveillance cameras will be installed.

The work costs were paid by economic agents working nearby.

Currently, other underground passages in the Rascani, Buiucani and Ciocana districts are currently being repaired in the capital. At the same time, this year the passages near the Shopping Mall mall and near the Circus have been completely renovated. The municipality intends to repair all 20 underground passages in the city.
