Chisinau City Hall informs that the municipal budget project for the year 2024 has been finalized and will be subjected to public consultations in the upcoming period. The subject was discussed during the operational meeting of municipal services on Monday, February 26th, of the current year.

According to Deputy Mayor Olga Ursu, similar to the project decision on the application of local taxes, the main financial document of the Municipality of Chisinau will be consulted within the deadlines set by law.

It is worth mentioning that, for the consultation of the project decision on the application of local taxes this year, 20 debate sessions were organized within the 5 municipal sectors, with the participation of representatives from the academic community, business associations, associations of foreign investors, as well as the Advisory Councils to the General Mayor.

All proposals put forward during the public consultations have been examined, with some of them being included in the project decision on the application of local taxes, which is finalized to be included in the agenda of the Chisinau Municipal Council meeting.
