The Chisinau Municipality was represented at the World Urban Forum held in Cairo, Egypt
The Chisinau City Hall informs that in order to reduce the risks related to the spread of the pandemic, the cultural-artistic program dedicated to Christmas and New Year is different from other years, most events being broadcasted online on social networks.
Thus, the municipality intended to keep the magic of the holidays and getting closer to loved ones, focusing on decorations, lights, national and international music.
In this sense, the Culture Department has created a playlist with Christmas and New Year's songs, Romanian carols, as well as carols from different parts of the world. The action was supported by the Embassies of the Republic of Lithuania, the People's Republic of China, Poland and Austria, which offered national music collections.
The songs will resonate in the areas arranged for winter holidays in the sectors of the capital, as follows:
City Center - the Square of the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Holy Gates (Arc de Triomphe);
Ciocana sector - Mircea cel Bătrân blvd. corner with P. Zadnipru str.;
Buiucani Sector - Calea Ieșilor str., "Alunelul" Park;
Botanica Sector - 23, Decebal blvd. (Pedestrian - musical fountain);
Rascani Sector - 12, Moscova blvd. (Memorial Square "Holy Memory").
The citizens will also have the opportunity to listen to the famous songs: "Silent Night, Holy Night", "Spring Festival Overture", "The scent of jasmine", "Blooming Flowers and Full Moon" as well as Christmas songs performed by the Lithuanian Choir.
