The Chisinau City Hall will receive financial support of 846 thousand euros for the rehabilitation works in the second phase of the "Alunelul" Park in the Buiucani district. The money was provided by the Local Council of the Sector 6 City Hall, Bucharest, approved today, by a decision regarding the allocation of financial sources destined to the Buiucani  District, the beneficiary of the project.

The activities are part of the Cooperation Agreement's provisions between the two sectors, through which Sector 6, Bucharest has committed to finance the works for the development of the rehabilitation project of the "Alunelul" Park in the second phase.

The restoration of public space includes the construction of an artesian fountain, the installation of decorative night lighting, as well as the lawn irrigation system, the arrangement of summer theater, children's and sports ground, but also the installation of urban furniture.

Ion Ceban, General Mayor of Chisinau municipality, thanked the Local Council and Mayor of Sector 6 of  Bucharest municipality Gabriel Mutu for providing financial assistance and support.

The agreement on the allocation of financial sources for the rehabilitation of the "Alunelul" park was signed by the Chisinau municipality, by the Deputy Mayor Inga Ionesii and by the Pretor of the Buiucani District, Vadim Brînzaniuc.

It should be noted that the total amount of the Park reconstruction project in the Buiucani district is 948,000 euros. The rest of the funds being allocated from the Chisinau municipal budget.
