Chisinau City Hall informs that the Coordination Council of the Start-UP Municipal Pilot Program for Young People and Migrants held a meeting last week, during which the investment projects submitted by the citizens of Chisinau municipality applying for funding under the Program were examined.

It is encouraging that the investment areas selected by the future entrepreneurs cover several branches of the national economy, including the alternative energy industry, the food industry, the manufacturing industry, the information technology industry.

Following the evaluations, it was found that out of 48 submitted applications, 16 investment projects meet the eligibility and compliance criteria.

The total amount of approved grants amounted to 3 012 661,00 MDL, the estimated investment in the municipal economy will be 5 517 308,86, creating 150 new jobs.
